Opera GX

What happened to my launch day post?  - In short, I tried it on launch day and didn't get time to make a post on it.

The Opera GX Website covers pretty much all aspects of the main new features being launched with GX and the most interesting of these features (to me at least) is the ability to control RAM and CPU usage for the browser. I can see the benefit but I personally don't get it. If your a top end gamer, you'll probably live stream and you don't need a browser open for that.

Is the RGB cool?

Simply put, I couldn't find the slider!

I FOUND IT! It's under the easy setup menu... not that easy if you get my drift!

Can you really overlay a video on your game?

Probably, I didn't test it. The pop out video however has been there on the native Opera browser so wouldn't at all be surprised if its exactly the same!

Did you find any other new features?

Not yet but I didn't do a "deep scan" to see what was possible. It looks like the original Opera browser to me with a couple of add ons. Might as well be on the original browser rather than make a new on!

Will you be replacing your browser?

No. I am happy with Opera standard.

In conclusion I feel let down by the launch but can see converts moving to use it rather than their browsers. PLEASE, PLEASE GET OFF OF GOOGLE CHROME!
